Hi! I’m glad you stopped by our web site! I hope you're finding everything you need. I’m so glad to have this opportunity to tell you a little bit about Hobe Sound Bible College.
We are an institution that endeavors to educate Christian young people in an environment that will develop them spiritually, academically and socially. Because of our excellent student/teacher ratio, we are able to provide personal attention to each individual student. I strongly believe that we have a quality product to offer you!
Our south Florida location is beneficial to our students in a variety of ways. The southern, coastal climate is warm throughout the year, yet cooled by breezes off the Atlantic Ocean only a mile away. Our suburban community is safe and comfortable and provides excellent employment opportunities that make it possible for students to finance their education. Our students are exposed to cultural diversity both in our own student body and in the community around us. This enables them to experience cross-cultural ministry through our Christian Service department.
We share our campus with Hobe Sound Bible Church, one of the largest and most active churches in the conservative holiness movement, and Hope International Missions (formerly FEA), an international missionary organization. This enables our students to catch a vision for what God is doing at home and abroad.
We are accredited, both through the state of Florida and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Our focus is upon Christian ministry — however, we are very interested in providing a biblical and spiritual foundation for those who will be preparing for a secular occupation. Because of this, we offer associate degrees in science, computer science, nursing, business, secretarial science, aviation and pre-professional studies along with our traditional ministry-oriented programs. Our accreditation status allows our students to transfer their credits to community colleges and state universities with relative success.
Most of all we want to teach our students to “Know Christ and Make Him Known” as our motto states. We are firmly committed to our rich holiness heritage and intend to see it proclaimed around the world.
